How it started
Tropes and Lore grew from a simple love of books, the excitement of finding a new favorite story, and the incredible book community I’ve found along the way. What started with sharing my love of reading on BookTok has grown into something I never expected. The encouragement, friendships, and support I’ve received from the community gave me the confidence to take my love of books and turn it into something of my own.
What I read
I’ve always loved getting lost in a good story — and if there’s a little romance and magic involved, even better! Romantasy will always have a special place on my bookshelf, but I love discovering and sharing stories across all kinds of genres.
When I’m not reading
When I’m not reading, wrapping mystery books, or dreaming up new ideas for Tropes and Lore, I’m usually spending time with my husband and our two Australian Shepherds, Zuko and Wanda, who keep life plenty entertaining. Books have always been a source of joy, comfort, creativity, and connection for me, and Tropes and Lore is my way of sharing a little bit of that with other readers.
At its heart, Tropes and Lore is about making finding your next read feel special again.
